Went to have my 2019 Toyota Highlander service. The oil sticker was not changed. I went back they gave me a oil charge sticker for only 1,000 miles. I went back and finally got the correct mileage on there. I left there wondering if my oil was even changed and tires rotated. I was also told I needed a wheel ailment. I don’t even know if that was done. I should have not left with that uncertainty.

Unfortunately I’ve had a few bad experiences with service here. The last one was enough that I don’t plan on going back. Brought my car in for brakes, tire rotation, and inspection. My appointment was at 10:30am after 5 hours I called to check on the car and service department said they would check on my car and call me back. After not hearing back for over an hour I called back and was told they hadn’t gotten to my car yet and wanted me to bring the car back the next day or leave it there. I live over and hour away. Needless to say I was quite unhappy. Had my car for over 6 hours, plus I spent over another 2 hours driving, and I spent $40 in gas for absolutely no reason.

After dropping off my truck for service, I went to the dealership's coffee bar. The coffee was hot and fresh too. No disappointments there. Then, having brought along a book, I headed for the waiting lounge, where a dozen other customers like me were waiting for service on their vehicles to be completed. The chairs were comfortable; some even came with separate foot rests. I got a lot of reading done that morning before I was finally summoned to sign some warranty service forms before driving off. All in all, it was a more pleasurable experience than I thought it would be.

I am more than pleased with my service at AutoNation Toyota. The service department is always kind and welcoming. Easy to schedule the work being done. Easy to get a ride back and forth to. They take great care not to damage my vehicle while it is on the lot. My only concern would be lack of communication while my car is there overnight. I have had to call them to find out if/when I am getting my car back. I have been dealing with AutoNation for twenty years now and will keep dealing with them. I have purchased 4 vehicles at this same location in the past twenty years that should say everything. It is a great place to purchase a vehicle and to get vehicle service.

Please resolve tire pressure warning issue Update 11jan2022 still having tire pressure sensor warning light flashing in dashboard. Started late November 2021. Safety issue when driving car . Please help repair the car’s tire pressure sensor safety system. Update still having safety issue with the bad tire pressure sensors been on back order since mid January. The service manager told me he will replace the key fob that is not working after the holidays, I’m still waiting . The service employee told me he will call me on update on the 100 point safety check that over looked the brakes and the issues mentioned. Still waiting on the update since I called last week January 21. I’ll keep y’all posted on these issues. God Bless y’all, 06Feb2022 : Update still waiting for service department managers call on repair or replace of key that is not working . Update 07mar2022 As of last week We still waiting on order for key fob . Can anyone help the customers in upper management department get service . Update 28april2022 Took in our 2014 RAV4 for warranty replacement of ac compressor and clutch last week and called twice this week for update of parts on order. Found out yesterday that no ac compressor and clutch were ordered. Was told Do not call us we will call you when the parts are ordered and when delivered. Service department , still waiting on update for parts and repair. Help!

DO NOT BUY A NEW CAR HERE! AutoNation lost a loyal customer with the purchase of a new car for our Daughter. We paid a deposit to hold the car which we picked up on 18 Apr 2022. As we left the dealer, we noticed a noise coming from the rear. When you stopped it sounded like a machine gun going off and the car shook. When we finally got the service department to take a look, they found silver dollar sized rust on the rotors. They said it was from the car sitting somewhere on the way to us. We now have to wait a month for new rotors to come in. The service manager was really helpful with getting the car safe to drive while we wait. The a/c compressor is also already making noise which we will need them to look at. There was even a small dent on the passenger side which we missed when we looked the car over. Toyota obviously did not do their inspections or test drive the car! Sold us an unsafe car that was exposed to the elements somewhere. We are now going to play the waiting game to see what else is wrong with it. We have driven it only 40 miles back and forth to the dealer. I recommend you drive to Victoria if you really want a Toyota.

Bought my car here last year, had a number of services done with no problem. Suddenly I am being treated poorly over the phone to schedule my next appointment and was told no openings until the following week. Call back the following week with the same treatment and response yet again, not to mention they did not have my records of service on file nor my phone number. Tried a different place and learned that Autonation had been using the wrong oil for my car? WoW.

I received great service at AutoNation Toyota. Steven overheard me ask the parts department about getting a new key and he didn’t hesitate to let me know what I needed to do. I ordered the key and made an appointment to come back when my key was in. When I arrived for my appointment, Steven took care of the rest while I got to sip on free soda and watch TV. You can’t beat that!

Excellent car buying experience! The staff at Toyota Autonation Corpus Christi made it easy and pleasurable when I found the car I wanted online. Tyrone patiently answered all of my questions about the 2022 Toyota Corolla Hybrid I was looking to purchase. Steve, who handled the paperwork was super nice. Everyone at that dealership was awesome. Even the waiting area is nice and roomy with lots of big comfortable chairs, refrigerated drinks, coffee, big screen tv while waiting for the crew to prepare the new car. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this car dealership and their vehicles. I am now driving a Toyota, known for their long-lasting motors that is giving me 58-60 mpg! I fill up the tank with a little over $30 at current price of fuel and I'm good to go for 650+ miles on that one tank. And I don't have to worry about plugging it in either! And ToyotaCare ensures that your purchase is well taken care of with regular scheduled maintenance for several years after the purchase, and even longer if you want!

Love Toyota products. We had a great sales person when we bought our truck. The service department however is lacking. When calling, I’m always put on hold. The technicians are slow to acknowledge you when you arrive and appointments don’t mean much. Had an 8am appt and just checked on vehicle at 3:30pm and they haven’t touched it yet. Will be looking elsewhere for service.

Purchased my first vehicle here the other day. Harold, our salesman, was very good and not pushy whatsoever and showed us several cars that were in the range of what we were looking for! Everything went smoothly except for a few vehicles that we test drove had a few issues that needed the Tech dept. to have a look over. (Check engine lights, flapping body molding pieces on the highway) Overall, my first experience with a dealer was very good and I'd recommend taking a look. We’ve done business with this dealership for years now for many vehicles. There have been up and downs over the years like with any business but many more ups than downs. Currently they seem to be very busy but have been able to keep up the friendly and professional service. I got my vehicle fixed, and though there was a small accident in the process, I greatly appreciate the honesty and the fix of that as well. I ended up wanting more things done to my car than what I had originally gone in for and Jojo was able to help me with having it all done. Since I was having more work done on my car. It way going to be done in time to make my doctor's appointment. I was able to use the company's shuttle service to get there, on time, and get back to my car being ready for me.

I have had a good experience with the service department the past two times I’ve been. The first time, they were friendly and accommodating. I had to wait a while being it was on a Saturday but they gave me constant updates and had plenty of snacks to help kill the time. The second time, I had a great experience. I dropped my car off right at 11:45 on a busy Saturday and they were able to service my car in under two hours, which was less than the estimated time I was given. They always do a detailed inspection of everything on my vehicle which gives me a great peace of mind.

I went to AutoNation Toyota, Corpus Christi for an oil change, had an appointment at 10am that morning. Got there and waited for the car to get done, few hours went by, they still haven't had my car in the garage to get done and it was 2pm, it had been 4 hours and they didn't even touch my car. Fast forward to 5pm I get told my car is ready, its been 6 hours for my car to get done with an oil change that should have been at the max, the max take 2 hours but it took 6 hours!!! If you guys were that book, you should cancel your appointment or not let anyone book any. It was ridiculous

Wait was short. Several ask if I was being helped. I know everyone has their right to make a personal choice of health. We are still in a pandemic. It would have been considerate at a business to see at least some employees with mask to help the customers who are wearing mask. I didn’t see any. I had two on. My mom is recuperating from cancer and my father is a heart patient. My choices effect them.

I didn’t get the car that I wanted. But they were set on helping me find a car that I could not only walk out with that day but also one that I could afford long term. They spent about three hours helping me apply for a loan and then picking out a car that matched the budget. After driving off the lot I realized I wasn’t totally happy with the car I bought so they must be good sales people 😂. Overall it was a very positive experience

I dropped my new vehicle off this morning at 9:30. Service dept told me it would take 3-4 hours to install mud flaps and wind deflector. 6 hours later I called because I had not heard from Toyota. Spk with Mike. He said he had no idea he was responsible for my ticket???? But he would check into it and call me in a few minutes. 45 minutes later I call again because I haven’t heard back from Mike. He says that they will not start on my vehicle for another 20 -30 minutes. Really????? Not impressed with the service department at AutoNation. Hopefully this was just a bad day and not an indication of future dealings with them.

Completely unprofessional service advisor. Alegra Spinn took advantage of charges to my vehicle. I knew that my vehicle had damages that would require new parts. I was told that they would run a diagnostic and perform an alignment IF POSSIBLE. I was called and told that diagnostics showed that there was indeed damage and it would be impossible to complete an alignment UNITL PARTS WERE RECEIVED AND REPLACED. When I sent my son in to pick up vehicle, he was forced to pay for both the diagnostic and ALIGNMENT because it was supposedly attempted. She scammed my son into paying for services that weren’t rendered and refused to be considerate of the fact that even though not mechanically inclined any person with a vehicle would know that an alignment would be done after parts were replaced. Will not have service done here again and hope no one else has been scammed in this way! CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!

Just bought a 4Runner here and it went pretty well. Sales guys were nice. Finance guy was great. He had me in and out to sign the paperwork (did not finance with them). Absolutely love the car. They have a great service department, we've been using them for awhile for our other Toyotas. Car dealers aren't my favorite places, but this one is pretty good.

What a joke. They list a car on their website, I get information and take the conversation as far as "placing a hold" on the vehicle for 3 days until I can drive in from out of town to look at it. For 2 days, I am in constant communication with the sales rep about making my purchase on Saturday. Then, Saturday morning, she texts me to tell me the vehicle was sold. The sales rep goes completely unresponsive, so I call JUSTIN, the used car director, and he tells me the car sold 2 weeks before I ever called. He then offers to search their inventory and find me something comparable - and guess what - days later, have not heard one word. This is a completely classless business and they lack any sense of integrity. Don't waste your time.

The dealership actually bought back the car and Eli found me another one which I am very happy with. I was very disappointed with the professionalism of the technicians that performed the work on a tire rotation. On my last visit I had to return to the location because I noticed my hubcaps and stem valves were missing. Had I not returned the same day I am certain that I would have had to pay for replacements. When I returned sales did acknowledge the unprofessionalism. However, the technicians were non apologetic and made the excuse that they rarely see the snap on hub caps. Which is odd to hear when they work for that specific manufacturer. I am also disappointed that each time I have gone there for maintenance my tire pressure was reduced below the manufacturer specification. Even on the inspection slip the wrong psi was labeled.

I was met in the driveway immediately after pulling up at around 7:15 in the morning. The vehicle porter was cordial offering me coffee and then offered a top-off when she realized I had coffee with me. She put a floor mat and seat cover on the driver seat before driving off. The service writer explained that they would check the rack and pinion recall to see if it affected our truck and offered to complete the initial maintenance since we were over time, but not even close to over mileage. He said that way we would benefit from the 4 maintenance opportunities included in the purchase of the truck. Shortly after 10:00 I was called telling me that my truck was complete and that the recall didn't affect our truck. Pleasant, professional and genuinely concerned with any issues I might have had.

I go in for my first service which is suppose to be an oil change and a tire rotation. First thing that happens is I look out at my 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro in line for service and see two service guys having a rest on my truck bed. Not a big deal unless one guy is leaning against your new paint w a zipper on his jacket. However, being able to use warranties that were a complete waste of money at this point is next to impossible and cancelling said warranties is entirely impossible. Sales representatives and finance representatives and managers appear to avoid you as soon as you have questions regarding the warranties. It appears to be a complete scam. This shout out goes out to Mike and Scotty in the Autonation Service Dept. Mike—for his attention to detail, way of remembering exactly what we talked about and delivering on that. He was also very much a gentleman in how he dealt with my wife who walked in there solo to pick up her 4 Runner. Auto shops have earned many critiques in how they handle female customers over the years. Not the case here. I appreciate that. Scotty—for educating while not trying to up-sale me on some things for our 4 Runner and our Rav 4. He knows his product and schooled me on a lift and a couple other things we’re looking at. I walked away feeling like I got a legit estimate. His mind was on what would be best, not what was most profitable. When I have questions or feel like investing in my vehicles, I trust these guys. I’m not sure this warrants three stars. I purchased a 2015 Chevy Cruz. Thankfully the engine light came on before the five day return policy was up. I took it to my mechanic and he pointed out multiple problems they should’ve fixed before selling it. (Coolant reservoir was bad, water pump was leaking, the valve cover gasket was leaking oil and there was a bolt missing on the oil cooler. The good thing, I was able to return it. Not sure what would’ve happened if that light came on the sixth day. My salesman Eli was great.

I have been using Autonation Toyota for the past year to service three of my family vehicles. We have a 2021 Toyota Tundra, 2021 Toyota Highlander, and 2020 Toyota Corolla. The service department team has dramatically improved from a year ago. Yesterday I took in my Tundra for a scheduled service. Everyone that I dealt with at the service department was very knowledgeable and professional. I like to personally thank the lady who greats you when you first arrive outside. She is always has a very positive attitude and makes you feel very welcomed. I would also like to thank the courtesy driver for always making sure his passengers are taken care of and keeping us safe by following all the safety laws. Again just a great experience overall and I will definitely come back for upcoming schedule and unscheduled services.

I purchased my 2021 Tacoma earlier this year from them and have had service performed twice at the dealership. No big complaints so far and hope to keep a long-standing relationship with them. Update 01/22/2022 In for a minor recall, 9:00 am this morning to receive a second ignition key. At the time of purchase, they only had one ignition key available due to the supply chain interrupt. You would think this would not be a big deal but it was. I was told at the time I made the appointment it would take two hours to complete. When I arrived on time for the appointment I was informed that it would take up to five hours to complete the recall. Not sure why something as simple as programming a smart key would take so long and when I asked about the reason why for the delay, the service advisor could only say they have limited technicians working Saturday. Wish they would have told me the correct duration of the service. Okay I know the pandemic has things in a tailspin but the best part of today's service experience is the new smart key is so poorly made it barely functions. It is difficult to insert and remove, hanging up, requiring it to be jiggled to make it work. After inspecting it I see it's full of burrs. Probably an easy fix but who knows. I didn't stick around to find out, I had enough fun for one day. I will save it for another day to try and get it corrected.

I was scheduled to see Scotty who never showed while I was there - my father even called as we were driving in from out of state to have some work done on my new vehicle. I was told the vehicle would be having an oil change and tire rotation, the first scheduled maintenance is what I said when I called. No one said it was ONLY tire rotation, I would never have scheduled a 6am appointment for a tire rotation. I also requested to have my vehicle washed as we drove through some salted areas and I don’t want any corrosion starting - I was told to tell my service advisor. So I did and what was her response? It’s broken - we can’t wash it but you can have that done anywhere. I called a good friend over at the Honda dealer and had Honda wash my Toyota 4Runner. I WILL NEVER HAVE MY VEHICLES SERVICED HERE AGAIN. I’m also letting my father know Robstown Toyota will give him better customer service. My father in law had the same experience I did, I should’ve listened to him when he told me not to take my vehicle to your establishment. This is what happens when local dealers go corporate. So sad.

AutoNation Toyota had what I was looking for, a 9 seat Tahoe. I test drove the car and mentioned to the salesman the AC was not cooling. He agreed and said that he would put it to service and see what was going on with it. I took him at his word when he said, "We will make it right." I returned when I was called as told it just needed to be recharged. Upon his assurance, it had been fixed, I came to pick up the Tahoe on a cool night. It felt like it was working but again it was cool outside. The next day was a typical South Texas warm-up and the AC was not cooling. Still inside the 250 mile limit to return the car, I texted my salesman and asked what it took to return the car. He asked that I give them a chance to "make it right." I believed they would. So now, I've purchased a warranty upon signing the paperwork. Three weeks after purchase, I took the Tahoe in so they'd get it working. They flushed the system, nothing. Now they've had it for over a week and replaced the compressor on my dime with the warranty. Now there is a temperature sensor they say is another problem and they were going to charge me $1600. That's how they "make it right." I said absolutely not and so they've offered to pay for half the repair. In my book, that is still not making it right. The Used Car Sales Manager is absolutely no help. I've called three times and he did not return my call. I went in and sat for an hour while he was "helping another customer" yet walking around the dealership. So I'm left with my Tahoe in their shop and will have to pay for the repair, or at least half of it. I feel they did me a disservice with poor customer service to boot. I would not recommend purchasing a used car from AutoNation Toyota of Corpus Christi.

I had an appointment for 8:30 am got there a little earlier, my car was checked in at 8:15 and when I called in at 1:05 to get a status on my vehicle they told me it had not even been seen , note I took it in for an oil change, alignment and diagnostic, horrible service! I would have expected that the oil change and alignment would at least have been done! So I mentioned that to them and they told me yes they can do that but it's gonna be a couple of hours, do they not know that people depend on their cars to do things , like pick up kids from school etc. 🤔 waste of a day!!!

She was super friendly, explained anything I had questions about fully, and was amazing at giving me a range of cars to look at, since I was very indecisive with what I wanted. This experience with AutoNation’s wonderful staff and environment has renewed my experience of car dealerships to something enjoyable, instead of feeling like I was strong handed into a car. We made an appointment for recall work. Spent most of the day in the waiting area. Near closing time, they said they didn't "get to" our truck. But they didn't have the courtesy to come tell us this. Very sloppy communication and poor service. They refused to provide a loaner car so we could leave the truck and drive home. We live out of town.

I waited for 4 1/2 hours for an oil change and even though I didn’t have an appointment it seems after 2 hrs they could have told me they were short handed or followed up with me somehow. I had to go ask what was happening and it wasn’t my tundra it was my Corolla being serviced.

I’m on my second Lexus since 2008 and have taken both GS350 to AutoNation Toyota for service. Scotty was my service rep and is now the Service Manager. I trust him! He has always been the honest broker — he didn’t do service that wasn’t necessary, he did the service that was required to keep my car in tip-top condition. I appreciate the honesty of the AutoNation team. And having Scotty running that team gives me a great feeling that I will not get ripped off by some fly-by-night repair shop…but I will get an honest assessment of my car’s needs. Thanks AutoNation for having wonderful employees like Scotty.

I bought a new 2021 Tundra TSS which was nothing but problems from day one to get the accessories I bought with the truck that they first forgot to order, then didn't even charge me the correct prices. Then on the service, they screwed something up and my truck now pulls to the right and has a weird noise and popping feeling when I turn. I scheduled an appointment to get the truck looked at 1pm and when I called at almost 5pm they hadn't even pulled it into the shop to start looking at it. Yes, I know it won't be right at 1pm, but almost 4 hours later and they hadn't even started to diagnose it is ignorant and unprofessional. The service agent said the service manager decided to just switch the tires back to see if that fixed it instead of trying to figure out what his guys screwed up. They were supposed to also fix it since it pulls to the right when you let go of the steering wheel and didn't even fix that. I bought the top tri-fold cover they offer as part of the truck which I really like; however, it shifted and was not allowing the tailgate to close correctly, and damaged the paint and whatever that crap they call a spray-in bed liner (save your money it's super thin and not worth the cost as they spray it directly on the smooth paint so it doesn't stick well, get the Rhino liner for a little bit more away from this scam artist place) is, yet there is nothing wrong according to them. I.E., just slam the tailgate close and it is flush with the back of the bed. My recommendation is to stay away from this place and find a different dealer to buy your Toyota and to get it serviced. The only thing they could do to save this place fires the entire management staff and hire competent ones that actually care about the customers and doing things correctly. I will have to call Toyota to deal with this dealership and take my Truck to a different one to get it fixed and get a new bed liner.

Took my 2014 Corolla in for airbag wiring harness recall and software update. It was ready in a couple hours. Service advisors were very nice and everything went smoothly. The only recommendation I have would be to add a courtesy wash to every service. I know of at least one competitor that does.

So last week I took a hybrid Highlander for a 15000 miles oil change And I just recibe an email saying they detect a oil leaking So look like the dealer is corrupted or they have unqualified persons. No loner was discussed,no I’ll call you when part comes in. No follow up to see if everything was ok. OUR VEHICLE WAS NOT WASHED WE HAD TO REQUEST IT. THE REAR TIRES STEM AIR VALVE COVERS WERE MISSING. I TOOK THE VEHICLE 3 DAYS AFTER THE MAINTENANCE WAS DONE BECAUSE I LIVE ABOUT 45 MILES ONE WAY FROM THE DEALERSHIP. UPON ARRIVAL I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE REPLACING THE KING OF VALVE COVERS THE SAN ANTONIO TX. DEALERSHIP HAD GIVEN ME THREE MONTHS EARLIER BECAUSE THEY WERE DAMAGIBG THE STEM VALVES. I HAD TO REPLACE THE 4 VALVE COVERS WITH THE SIMPLE GREEN COLOR PLASTIC COVERS. I HAD METAL ONES WITH A GREEN TIP. I AM NOT CONVINCED I WAS TOLD THE TRUTH BUT DIDNT WANT TO MAKE A BIG DEAL.

I was interested in the 2021 RAV4 XLEs and called Hunter to see a couple in a few days’ time (I have a very busy work schedule). However, the one I was really wanting appeared to have just been sold. Hunter had me test drive a used LTD Edition that was perfect for me. He listened to what I wanted (and why) and I never felt pressured to buy. Even though I didn’t buy what I thought I was there for, I couldn’t be more pleased with the vehicle I did purchase. Anthony Rupenski in the finance department was thorough and knowledgeable and again, I felt no pressure to purchase the “add ons”. He just explained my options. I highly recommend AutoNation if you’re in the market for a new or used Toyota. (I’ve not yet experienced the service here). If you want a no pressure salesperson that listens to your wants and needs, and makes the process about YOU, the buyer, ask for Hunter.

Then service representative asked if I still wanted the correct tow hitch cover and I replied yes and the representative said it will take six weeks. If I could give them zero stars I would. Went in to their service department for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Not too busy, and after 1.5hrs I asked about the vehicle, "it is being worked on now." So I think, awesome! One more hour passes and I go up to ask if everything is good, and the lady Jojo says she will check on it. She comes back and says the service manager is on it, my truck has not even been touched yet after 3hrs. I saw 9 people come and go, and they lied to me about my truck being worked on. I highly recommend you frack your own oil, process it, ship it through the suez canal, and do your oil change yourself if you're considering coming here. It will take alot less time, and atleast you won't be lied to.

I made an appointment for oil change and tire rotation- when I called and set the appointment, I was not told of any wait time. When I arrived, I was told about three hour wait. I was offered a shuttle, which I accepted. When I was ready to be picked up I called and asked for the shuttle to pick me up. I was told that he had a few stops before me. I waited one hour and twenty minutes for the shuttle. No apologies- only rude people that answered my three calls asking when someone would be there. I was in tears, waiting , about to call a taxi. When I arrived back to the dealership still no apologies for wait. Also was told I need a new battery when I have no issues with my vehicle starting. My entire day was spent on an oil change and tire rotation- definitely not how I wanted to spend my Saturday..

I ended up buying a beautiful new car that is $20,000 over my budget. I am trying to justify this purchase, as I take ultimate responsibility. Because of the significant margin I have exceeded, I am likely to trade in this brand new 4Runner, take a hit, and attempt the purchase process over again. Everyone at Toyota Nation CC has been friendly, accessible, and knowledgeable. This was my first time to purchase a car. I needed something that would take me down the beach as well as drive me safely to San Antonio from Corpus Christi. But for $30,000, not $50,000. So as I write this, I am still researching, still looking for the right fit. I struggled greatly during the final steps of this purchase, and in the end, I wish I had proceeded more carefully.

I took my tundra in for a oil change and tire rotation when I got my truck back I asked if the rotation had been been done and the tech told me it was but I have a scratch on my rim that I did a while back but the tire had not been rotated cause that tire was still in the same place he tried to assure me that the rotation had been done but I knew this not to be the case. I?ve been going here for almost 20 yrs and I can say that the quality of work there has dropped. Be sure to check their work. I have lost my trust for the techs there.

I have been buying Brand new Vehicles every two or three years since 1985 and several Brand New Vehicles for my daughter and our Sales Gentleman was actually NON-PRESSURED Salesman that, may be the first and my experience was a very pleasant as well as his complete knowledge of our questions. Our Finance Person did obtain a better rate for my vehicle Bravo and thanks for that and was a nice person but talked way too much! in the "HUSTLE MOOD" of additional costs on services I was not interested and rather annoying, and it was such a "comical routine", sounded like a broken record. I actually told him that "your mouth-piecing me to death let's just get the paperwork done, all in good humor of course. But overall 5-Stars for sure on the purchase of my Vehicle. I recently took my 2014 Toyota Sequoia in for an oil change, I was notified that some other things needed some attention (i.e. brakes, spark plugs, etc). I opted for the service department to tend to the brakes. I picked up my vehicle later in the evening and something wasn't right. I contacted the service department about it and they got my vehicle back in the next morning and fixed the issue free of charge. I wasn't happy about the original problem, but because they made it easy to correct the problem the experience turned out pretty good overall.

They found the car I needed without me having to do a lot of running around. I wanted a specific scarce model that AutoNation took as a trade-in and liked enough to keep for resale. The "one price, no haggle" deal made it pretty easy and quick. Leo Espinoza, an old friend in finance I knew from my last AutoNation purchase, sold me the right warranty package appropriate for a used vehicle, and I was glad to hear that Scott Evans was the service manager who would be taking care of it. Us average folks only buy a car every several years, so it is pleasant to do it from professionals who make it as affordable as possible and fairly quick and stress free. I am obviously partial to Toyotas and this AutoNation sales team, but I believe my experience on this sale is accurately representative of their commitment to excellent service.

I usually have good service, but was very disappointed in my last visit. Twice in three days, AAA had to come start my car. I was out in various places and car wouldn't start and wouldn't turn off. They said I had a bad cell in my battery. Don't know why it wouldn't turn off. Toyota says they cannot find anything wrong with the car. Am not sure you all did a complete diagnostic on the car so I am left to wait and see where and when I will be for the next time it won't start

I did not have a good experience purchasing a vehicle from Autonation. I called to look at a vehicle I saw online. Talked with a salesperson, set an appt to see it. I was told the vehicle would be up front and ready when I got there. When I got there, I waited for a good 15 minutes and was handed off to someone else because he was busy. I didn't care for the vehicle and left. I saw another one online and called hoping to get a different salesperson. I got the same salesperson and gave him another chance. I made an appt and was told the vehicle would be ready. I get there and wait and wait and again, the salesperson doesn't have time for me. I am handed off to someone else and he has to try to hunt down the vehicle. Unfortunately, I really wanted that vehicle and went through with the purchase. When I had questions during the buying process, getting in touch with my salesperson was a NIGHTMARE. I couldn't get in touch with him directly to get any of my questions answered. I was just transferred to a voicemail that seems like it never got answered or checked.

After receiving multiple letters and emails requesting me to call and schedule an appointment. I did. I scheduled an appointment and was told that because this is a factory recall the part is in stock and the repair will take approximately 1 hour. I arrived on time and was told that the repair will take at least all day and I should call someone to pick me up. Then I was informed that the part needed for the repair was not in stock. I asked for me vehicle and for someone to call me when the part is in stock. My original appointment was on Nov. 24, 2020. I've called twice and left messages to find out if the required part has arrived with no response. I did however, get a call from a manager about talking to him about selling or trading in my vehicle for a new or used vehicle... unbelievable. The service department at AutoNation Toyota in Corpus Christi, TX is TERRIBLE. Appointments mean nothing and their follow-up is non-existent.

My experience was not a good one. I only went through with the purchase because I wanted the vehicle. If I could have found anything else comparable, I would have gone elsewhere. When I called I was put in touch with a sales person who said they would have the vehicle ready for me when I got there (I made an appt). When I got there, the vehicle was not ready, they didn't know where it was and the sales person handed me off to someone else because he was busy with someone else. I left. I wanted to see another vehicle a few days later and called and was handed off to the same person. I gave him a second shot and I get there, the vehicle is not ready when I arrive at my appointment time and again, he is busy with someone else and I am handed off to someone else. This may be how they handle it but in between the two vehicles, I went to Mike Shaw Toyota. When I spoke with a sales person and set an appt, the vehicle I wanted to see was up in front when I arrived and my sales person was waiting for me. I was not handed off to someone else. I really wish that vehicle was in better shape because that lot knew how to treat someone. After deciding to purchase the vehicle at Autonation, getting in touch with the sales person was a NIGHTMARE. If you have any questions you care constantly given to the receptionist and then to the sales person's voicemail, which I don't think the man ever listened to or answered.

I had my vehicle towed so they could fix a flat tire since I have Platinum roadside assistance and platinum tire & wheel with key. Ambur tells me I have no coverage. It's a 2019 Toyota Corolla. I have my paperwork showing that I do have coverage. When I went to pick up my vehicle I had to wait over an hour so they could locate my keys and vehicle. No one had no clue why my vehicle wasn't serviced and no clue where my vehicle was at. They even tried telling me I was at the wrong dealership. I had told Ambur that I would be there by 8 and to leave my vehicle up front with key locked inside since I can open it with my spare key. The worse experience ever. They wasted my time and theirs. I don't mind driving the extra miles to get my vehicle serviced at other Toyota dealerships. At least other Toyota dealerships know how to do their job and have customer service skills.

It was a horrible recall experience. I took the car in for a recall fix on a Thursday. The next day after I picked the car up, the dash board light starting flashing "check engine, contact dealer. Call the dealer on Saturday morning and explained the situation to whomever answered my call. I was told that the service department was too busy, to come on Monday. On Monday, I took the car and was informed that my advisor had the day off and indicated that I had to wait until my advisor returned. After protesting, another advisor took my order. The car was not fixed until Tuesday. I was given the lame excuse that the delay was due to a repair part that had to be ordered and was not received until Tuesday. My impression is that the car was not serviced until the original advisor returned to work, I did not buy my car from any particular advisor, I bought it from TOYOTA and expect to be service by TOYOTA when I have car problems.

I took my truck in for the first 5000 miles tire rotation and upon their inspection they said one of my tires had a sidewall puncture non repairable. A replacement tire by Auto Nation Toyota was 181.94, I asked them to put air in the tire and I'll go get a second opinion. I went to a well name tire shop same town and was told the tire could be patched, saved me 181.94. I suggest everyone should get a second opinion don't believe what the dealership tells you, could save yourself some money too.

Scheduled an appointment for service per dealers email request. Explained to them I did not need tires rotated. They said just to tell the service tech to do the other maintenance checks. When I got there they said they would not do the other checks since they were not going to rotate the tires ( At a cost to me). This is a rip off in my opinion and sounded like this was a way to make money. I state below I would not recommend this dealer only because of the way the service dept is handled.

In the past, I have been pleased by the service I received at Autonation Toyotota. Unfortunately, I was very unhappy about my recent service experience. When my wife had her vehicle serviced at Autonation Honda, she never had to go in the building. She was able to maintain social distancing with the service advisor who came outside when she arrived. When she picked up her vehicle, she phoned the cashier, paid by credit card on the phone, and her vehicle was brought up front to her. When I arrived at the Toyota dealer for service, I was told I had to go inside to see my service advisor. Due to COVID-19 and being in a high-risk group, I had not wanted to enter the building. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I assumed I would not have to on inside for any paperwork. I called the service department to let my advisor know I was outside, and I was put on hold. After holding for quite a while, I called back and found out that the person I was holding for was on a conference call! I talked to someone else who told me I had to again go inside for paperwork. When I went inside, there were so many individual stations for service advisors and so many people, it was impossible to maintain social distancing. When I signed all of the paperwork and went outside and got in my car, I discovered the wheel lock key had not been put back in my car. I had to go back inside again and wait for someone to go in the repair section to bring me my wheel lock key. I feel like not only did I receive very poor service, but worse than that, the service department’s procedures and arrangement of the room for the service department are not safe for preventing COVID-19, especially for people who are at risk. I hope that my lengthy review will lead to changes. There is no reason Autonation Toyota cannot adopt procedures like Autonation Honda, which allows for a virtually contactless service experience.

on the 4th of June. I had a great experience working with Mr. Kevin Garza. Let me tell you what I feel about that young man. In my eyes he is an eager beaver. He knows respect, manners, and most of all he knows what customer service is all about. Kevin knew you were one employee short. He asked to be placed in that vacancy. He immediately went to work on familiarizing his duties. I witnessed an unbelievable display of team work. Justin Bourdon was a pleasant manager, making sure I was comfortable and when needed Kevin did not hesitate to ask questions and with an undivided attention made sure he stayed focus. This is the worst place to buy a vehicle. I’ve had nothing but issues with my car and issues with the staff. They are nothing but liars. And do whatever they can to get your money. I’ve been lied to since day one! I wish I could get my money back. It’s been a nightmare for 2 years. And now I’m careless because, yet again they are trying to get outta fixing my car, when they first told us the damages were covered under warranty. Now they expect me to jump thru hoops to get them what they “need” so they can work on my car. Screw this horrible business! While most of the staff were helpful, a couple were not. In fact, they brought the average down considerably. One salesman in particular was probably the rudest salesman I?ve ever dealt with. Bad attitude, total lack of communication, misrepresentations of the process, and just made the entire experience feel as if I was a huge inconvenience. I would recommend the dealership, just not this salesman.

The worst experience ever. Your staff has their head buried in the computers hoping not to make eye contact with the customer. The only female there was rude and gave a rude sigh when she was interrupted with whatever she was doing on the computer. It was a bother to her when we let her know glove box was left on passengers seat and she then managed to to do her job and called somebody to help The person who wrote down what we were there for never followed on hubcap that we requested pricing on. No need for follow up call. Don?t intend to go there again.

My first transaction with AutoNation Toyota in Corpus Christi went very well. (I will likely do business with them again). I'm from Midwest United States where salt is a necessary evil on winter roads. Since I can only afford vehicles five to fifteen years old, I no longer buy used Midwestern vehicles: they're usually hopelessly rusted by road salt after ten years or so. Because of this, I usually buy vehicles from Arizona and drive them home. But, this time I considered Texas and found a good match: a 2006 Toyota Tundra 4x4 Access Cab with 156k. The sales staff at AutoNation Toyota Corpus Christi (Arnold Balboa especially) was excellent: respectful, courteous, cordial, accommodating and helpful at every turn with every question. You'll find none better. They were so good responding to specific questions and requests that I didn't feel a need to inspect the vehicle in person: I bought this vehicle site-unseen and flew from Northern Minnesota to Corpus Christi, Texas on a short vacation to complete the transaction and then drove the truck 1700 miles home without incident. These folks are good. Whoever does the hiring here knows what they're doing. I'll be back.

Purchased a vehicle. The brand new vehicle was delivered with a scratch in the hood. Not a huge deal. It can be fixed. I was told to bring the vehicle in the following Monday and they would repair it. I show up on Monday after work only to find out I am not even on the schedule for repair. So I am told to drop it off the following Monday like told. I am told by the salesman that I can pick it up Thursday after work. I show up at 5:30 pm. I get a call on my cell phone from the sales man saying he isn’t there and he could not find anybody to bring my vehicle up front. They totally waste your time and fail at simple things like scheduling and planning. When my husband buys his new truck next year we are going to Mike Shaw Toyota. AutoNation is minor league. I totally recommend Mike Shaw that is where I wanted to buy my car but I thought AutoNation would be convenient because it is in town. It is actually not because of their inability to plan and communicate with the customer. If you are thinking about getting a Toyota go to Mike Shaw.

The quality of the customer care of their repair department is superb. The repair department personnel are professional, patient, and courteous. Also, the Corpus Christi location offers free coffee, soda pop, bottled water, and snacks (e.g., small bags of potato chips, peanuts, crackers/cookies, etc.). They also offer courtesy rides to and from work for those dropping off and leaving their vehicle for repair. I chose to remain at the location during a repair and they provided a ride to a restaurant. There is also a rental car establishment at the location. Also, their leadership philosophy is reflected in their hiring practices; they hires veterans, senior citizens, and the disabled. They are the best auto dealership I have ever dealt with. Kudos to them and their superb leaders.

I’m done with Autonation and Toyota. Took my 2016 Tacoma in with a major leak in the third brake light above the window. Apparently there is a service bulletin out for it. Autonation charges me $154 just to diagnose the leak and then tells me it will cost over $600 to fix the problem. I called Toyota and they tell me since it’s out of warranty they won’t fix it. DO NOT BUY A 3rd GEN TACOMA!!!! THEY ARE GARBAGE!!!!

I was in a really bad car accident last month. I ended up totaling a brand new 2020 Toyota Corolla that I literally had for only two weeks. It was very scary but I’m blessed that everyone was okay. I went in for a regular scheduled oil change and when I arrived I informed them of my Low Tire Pressure light being on. I sat in the lobby for 4 hours until they came out to tell me my oil change was done but I needed to buy a new tire bc one was slashed. Long story short, my sales guy misinformed me on the protection packages and what all it covers so I was going to have to pay out of pocket for this new tire. I needed a new tire bc the mechanic said the slash wasn’t repairable and it was dangerous to drive on but they couldn’t get me a new tire until 4 business days. I then just asked for the spare to be put on and for my damaged tire to be put in the back seat of my suv and told them I was going back to Rockport to get it taken care of there. So I took it to my local tire shop and I was told the tire was still in great condition and there was no danger in using it still. Get this, it wasn’t even a slash, it was a screw and it wasn’t even long enough to pierce the tire. The screw was taken out and the tire was put back on. No air was even needed in the tire 🙄

Brought vehicle in for oil change only to get home to find that the service was not performed. Tires not rotated (based on lack of smudges on wheel brake dust and missing valve cap still in the same position), oil not changed (based on looking at the drain plug and seeing no evidence of recent oil smear or residue). Brought the truck back the next day and discussed this with the service adviser and the service was then performed. I was told that they must have not performed the service due to wrong computer input. Complete waste of my time prior to a Holiday weekend. I will think twice about using AutoNation of Corpus Christi for service or sales in the future

Took my CHR for a sensor reset and routine oil change and had the worst experience. I hadn’t used auto nation since I live near Mike Shaw but decided to use them because it was close to work. Many things were wrong including being over charged. No one could explain the differences and I was given a voucher for a free oil change since I tried to look at the invoice and add up prices. I was quickly taken to the cashier before I had time to review my invoice. I felt as if they were hiding charges from me and did not take the time to go over the charges with me. I was also mis- quoted the price for the sensor reset that I submitted to the my insurance. My oil change was $64.10 and a service fee of $$37.55 was added in the second page and was not explained to me until I raised my voice and complained. This service fee is for gloves and disposables 🤦♀️. Very shady pricing and employees and now my car is not starting right and the computer keeps resetting to factory settings. I will not take it to Auto nation because I believe they will not make it right and I will not be treated with respect! If you have a Toyota use Mike Shaw!

I have been serviced at at least 5 different Toyota service centers but this one is by far the worst service I have EVER received and I absolutely will not be returning to this location. -No one acknowledged me when I walked in and one service rep even began to assist a woman who walked in behind me and demanded immediate attention from them. FINALLY I was helped and dropped off my car. -I waited for 5 hours before calling to check on my vehicle. I was told someone attempted to call me twice and that they weren't even able to leave me a voicemail? I had no missed calls and there's nothing wrong with my voicemail box. They proceed to tell me extra work needs to be done and then say they will have it ready in one hour. -I called 30 minutes before close to check on my car. My car was ready and no one had called me AGAIN. -I go to pick up my car and the cashier is absolutely overwhelmed with customers trying to check out before closing time and not one service rep is helping her... her name was Kim and she was very nice and very stressed. The cashier Kim did not have some people's paper work which comes from the reps, some people's keys, some people's cars needed to be pulled up. no one was responding to her overhead announcements that she needed help. -My service rep (Joe? I dont know THREE different people helped me this day and 2 of them said they were Joe....) didnt have my paperwork filled out correctly when I arrived and had to redo it to take off the charge for my oil change because it was prepaid. He asks for some signatures and then walks away from me while talking to someone else. he didnt mention whether or not he was done with me so the cashier proceeded to help others while she waited on him. -Service rep never came back and cashier apologized and helped me. I get in my car to find all the dirty paper and plastic liners were left for me to clean up. -WORST PART IS: They had my car 9:45 AM until 5 PM and all they did was change my air filter and change my oil. my car was there to have the oil changed AND have tire rotation and realignment per my prepaid service plan. Those things were not done. now I will have to take my car somewhere else to have this done, like the service center in Austin. Screw you Corpus Toyota your staff is TRASH. (other than Kim the cashier) Sincerely, your pissed off customer.

Went in for car detail, all air filters replaced, and a/c checked. They checked a/c. Went to pick up car and no filters had been changed and car wasn?t detailed, again. I brought my new 2019 Toyota 4 Runner for the 5000 mile service and the 4 runner has not drove the same. I’m bringing the vehicle back for an inspection- will update this review upon completion of the inspection. ***Update*** I had an appointment to bring the vehicle in at 1 pm but I had arrived at 12:30. The car needed to be looked at because the car had serious vibrations when driving on the highway. Walked in to service center and after waiting for a few minutes, I was finally acknowledged (It would be nice if they had just given the costumers a simple hello or we’ll be with you in a minute). Anyways continuing on, they took my vehicle in and told me that it would take awhile which I didn’t mind so I waited in the lounge area. 3 hours of waiting (4 pm by now) and seeing people come and go, I decided to check with the service advisor for a status update. I was told that it was next in line, so I proceeded to wait. 1 hour goes by (5 pm), still nothing so I approached the service advisor for an update. This time I was told that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle and it was tested 4 times for vibrations. I told the service manager that is impossible because I drive this vehicle everyday and I see and feel the car vibrating. He continued to disagree with me until a saving grace (Jeff, Customer Service Relations Manager) approached me and told him my concerns. This time, Jeff pulled a Master Technician from the floor to test drive the vehicle. The Master technician concluded that yes there was vibrations and the tires needed to be balanced. After completion of the balance, the Master Technician and I took it for a test drive and the vibration issues were no longer there. I’m satisfied with the service provided by Jeff and the Master Technician. I am however not satisfied with the below. 1. Placing a “inexperienced” line member to test drive the vehicle. When in doubt, ensure it gets tested by a Master Technician. 2. We drive our vehicles everyday and we know if it’s not driving well. All service advisor needs to listen to the customer, when they say there is an issue. 3. Service Advisors need to work on their customer service. An acknowledgment and an periodic update goes a long way. I’m only giving this a 2 star because of the exceptional service provided by Jeff and the Master Technician. I still look forward to bringing my vehicle back but I sure do hope they improve on their services.

I bought my tundra last may from autonation corpus christi. today I took it in for a 10,000 mile check up and oil change. they told me that there was a recall on my truck. my appointment was at 8:45am. when I dropped it off i told them i needed it back by noon for work at 1pm. they assured me it would be ready by noon. at 12:30 I called to see if I could pick it up and they had just started the oil change. 12:45 I call the manager to ask for help to this situation and they offered me a shuttle. this place is only interested in you buying from them they could care less about their customers after you purchase from them. I STRONGLY DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. AFTER PURCHASING MY TRUCK THEY DONT HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE

The most dissapointing and undesirable car purchase we have ever encountered. We drove from out of state to purchase a car for it only to operate for one week before breaking down and becoming undrivable. The dealership did not stand behind the car they sold us or give us help with the vehicle which had existing mechanical malfunction codes diagnosed in their shop before we purchased.

BLUF: The service technicians at #Autonation #Toyota did not secure a hose to the transmission after I paid $350 for a flush resulting in a CEL, damaged sensor, a rental, and a poor customer experience. Im disappointed with the service departments technicians. Ill say that first of all, the employee that was helping us, Terrin, was courteous and accommodated my girlfriend and I as much as she could. Saturday morning we dropped off her RAV4 for a transmission flush that we were supposed to have picked up later that day. We paid $350 for this service. My dissatisfaction began as we were driving home. The CEL came on in her vehicle about 1.5 miles from the dealership. We took the vehicle back to have it looked at and waited in the lobby/customer area. After a while we were given the news that the CEL came on because a hose wasnt secured, which resulted in transmission fluid being sprayed all over the engine bay. This obviously caused quite a mess and they apologized and said they would clean it out and send us on our way. Well, more time went by and they approached us again stating that the leaked fluid is beginning to smoke on the hot parts of the motor which is causing other problems with the vehicles sensors and to be safe they were going to replace it for us at no charge. Due to it being Saturday afternoon, they werent going to be able to get a part or work on it because theyre closing soon and not opened on Sunday. What makes matters worse is that my girlfriend lives in San Antonio and she now has to come back down to get her vehicle back whenever its repaired! As you can imagine, were both upset about this and all we can do is get a rental and deal with it. What is even more upsetting is that the rental we were given was a Corolla which, in my opinion, isnt comparable to the RAV4 we were supposed to have been driving home that day. I would not recommend service here because of this issue and the fact that no other efforts were made to make this better. I paid $350 for this dealership to damage my girlfriends vehicle, keep it, give her a lesser-valued rental, and send us away displeased. I will be contacting the service manager about this. I dont feel the dealership extended themselves at all to rectify this, but did the bare minimum to get us off the lot.

I purchase a new Toyota Prius V from Autonation Corpus Christi and it was the quickest and easiest auto purchase I have ever experienced. I went online and filled out the credit application and trade in application on a Monday evening. I received a phone call from sales person on Tuesday afternoon telling me my loan was approved at a very good rate and offered a fair price on my trade-in sight unseen. I accepted both offers and the new care was dealer prepared and ready to go by the time I got off work on Wednesday afternoon. I was in the dealership for a total of 30 minutes to sign the paperwork and was ready to drive off the lot in my new car. But before they would let me do that they requested that I let them show me every feature of the car and do a complete walk around. Upon completion the general manager personally came and introduced himself and thanked me for the purchase and gave me his personal phone number in case I had any further questions or complaints. Hard to beat customer service like that.

I can't say enough about these guys. I start out at Mike Shaw Toyota and was not impressed. "They would hand write an offer with arrows and circles and talking apple to apple comparisons. The last straw was them not wanting to get me a car from another dealer with out a hassle. So, I went to AutoNation Toyota. I first encountered "Francisco" on the lot. From the very beginning, he was polite and very helpful. I asked for a White Corolla S Plus and he said he would get it with a True car price. There was no trying to sell me another car or something i didn't want. The paperwork was all typed up and easy to understand. Overall a great experience when buying.

There is always hesitation when taking my vehicle in for repairs but this time I thought I would try the dealership. Most folks would think that I was crazy for doing this but it turned out to be an awesome experience. Zachary is a very respectable young man with manners which is hard to find these days. He quoted a price, completion time and delivered as promised. It doesn't get better than that! I hope I don't need future repairs but if I do, I'll go see Zach again at AutoNation Toyota! I had a great salesman named Todd Burkes. I liked that he was not pushy. I had been to a different dealership the day before and after 2 hours of back and forth I was miserable. The sales process was very satisfactory and smooth. There was no pressure and they worked with me to find the right truck at the right price and had it brought it from out of town that same night. We financed through our bank and they communicated with the bank efficiently and in a timely manner to obtain all necessary documents. The final signing process was quick and efficient with absolutely no pressure to add anything that had not been agreed to already. The sales person was very friendly, efficient and easy to communicate with via text or phone throughout the process. The truck was ready in perfect detailed condition after signing with no delays. Jason C. introduced himself to us and immediately started with the search for the perfect vehicle for me and my fiance'. After test driving several vehicles we decided the 4-Runner was the one. Jason helped us get $5,000 more for our trade in that any other dealer in the area offered. He went out of his way to make sure we got the best deal possible to keep us in the price range we wanted to be in. We have been to the dealership a few times since the purchase and he treats us like royalty every time. After owning 7 different BMW's I think I'll be sticking with Toyota for now on. I was able to find what I wanted with little effort via online due to its accuracy of available units. Although the dealer had to outsource to get me what I wanted, it was here one day later.
